It's been so long, I don't even know if anyone will read this!

Ya, it's just too weird to even say that belly belongs to me!

The shower was set up so darling! All the table decorations, yummy cupcakes, fresh flowers and this precious clothes line! The lanterns that match the babies room (they are officially hung up and looking fab in the babies room as of today!).  Thanks to everyone that helped pitch in! It was super nice!

McKinley is so precious! This was when Tisha and Mark came into town for just a quick weekend trip! I could barely stand to give her up to anyone but it was so fun seeing Ty with her! I don't see him hold many babies, I'll be getting my fill soon enough though!
Not sure how many weeks I am here!
Grandpa Jim!
The girlies!

The smallest temple I've been to. Vernal. I learned today that it was actually a tabernacle.

I think blogging is just as beneficial to me as it is to everyone that reads it. It's sort of like a journal entry and it also relieves a little bit of stress build up as well.
So it's been awhile, yes it has! Our lives have been super swamped and that's a good thing to a point.
School is winding down. Two weeks left including finals week. It will be so awesome to be done for a few weeks. If I pass my math final I will NEVER, repeat NEVER have to take another Math class in my life! Oh that will be a great day! Ty only has one class left after this semester and he'll be done with his AS. We're both just chugging through, slowly but surely I guess.
As for the pregnancy update. I'm feeling great thus far. Starting to get to the uncomfortable stage but haven't encountered a lot of heartburn and the heat doesn't really bother me too bad. I actually enjoy being outside. I went golfing with my work up to Old Mill golf course and golfed the entire course without getting too tired or hot! It was fun. Me and Ty went up to Flaming Gorge with my family and Grandma and Grandpa Lindquist last weekend too and spent 6 hours on the lake on a pontoon! So the heat hasn't bothered me too badly yet! No false labor pains, constipation, nausea or stretch marks (I've been told these usually come at the very end though so with 7 weeks to go we'll see). Haha! So it's been rather smooth. We did have a rough spot a few weeks ago. I had to do my Glucose test. Which, let me say is absolutely the most repulsive drink! That particular appointment we went to I had traces of protein in my urine and my test results for the glucose count came back high and I also had low iron. Every appointment had been great up until that one and it sure came in a set of three. So they put me on a 'diet' and packed me full of carbs for three days and I went in after the third day and they made me drink that nasty drink again, except this time it was double the grams of sugar, instead of 50 grams it was a whopping 100 grams that I had to drink in 5 minutes and it was warm. The first one made me sick and this time it was even more awful! I kept it down for about an hour and a half and I couldn't do it anymore! Up it came (instant relief) and I was nervous because I almost ruined the test results and would've had to do it again. Plus I we were driving in the car and it was in front of someone's house! I can't drive down that road without feeling guilty now! Anyways, they took my blood 4 times from the same vein, my arm looked pretty bad! It bruised up and down my vein and by the fourth time it hurt! The test results came back ok in the end but it was still pretty rough for awhile there. Gestational diabetes is not a huge deal these days but it can cause some complications and make you more apt to getting them later in life. I am just glad the Lord was watching over us and that everything was ok.
We have taken some pictures of my belly, the bare belly ones are weird! I can't believe that's me when I look at them sometimes! I feel pregnant, know I'm pregnant, but I honestly can't see myself being pregnant. Have fun looking at the pictures!
Ty has started playing basketball, running and he went golfing for the first time since he tore his ACL last year! It's been a whole year! It's amazing how time flies! He is now itching to get out and play more now! Which is fine with me! Soccer will be back in our lives in the next couple of months, I can feel it in my bones! I want to play once the Dr. gives me the go ahead or I feel good enough to play! Probably not until late October I suspect! Hopefully sooner for Ty though! It'll be quite the interesting show to see, playing for the first time in a year! :) Oh the joy!
I have had two baby showers now, one for Ty's side and one for my side of the family! They were both absolutely fun and fabulous! I didn't get any pics of Ty's side shower but I got a couple from my side. Thank you for everyone that came and supported! It's so nice to have a loving family and friends! We are grateful for all the preparations that went into these showers and for all the wonderful gifts! We are truly blessed!
Enjoy the pictures, it's the holiday and it's time to BBQ!
Happy 24th of July!
