October started off with me chopping my mop.
10-12 inches. Gone.
It felt SO good!
I've always wanted to donate my hair.
Check mark on the Bucket List!
Love me some General Conference time too. 3 new apostles were called and sustained. So cool to be a part of that.
Some of my favorite quotes:
Pres Uchtdorf: "Tell a man there are trillions of stars and he will believe you. Tell a man there is white paint on the wall and he'll touch it to make sure." Sometimes the truth is too simple for us to believe. Simplify.
Elder Hales: None of us marry perfection, we marry potential.
Elder Nelson: We need covenant keeping women who... teach fearlessly!!
And I absolutely loved Elder Bednars tribute to the brethren who have left us here in mortality throughout the 11 years of his Apostleship.
Randoms for the month include flower arrangements I did for my cousin Amanda Grover's Bridal Shower. Brynlee started getting her 6 year old molars. Some random shots of her that I took when I snuck into her classroom one day to help out. More fun without the photos include taking Grandma Cookie and Grandpa Donut out for dinner. Partly because Grandpa helped us put new carpet in our house. It's nice to spend time with them.
Another doozy.... Parent Teacher Conferences.... As a parent... Crazy! As we walked into the school I looked at Ty and he looked back at me and it was literally a surreal moment in time. This was happening. Her teacher is proud of her but said she needed to slow down. She tries to go too fast.
I got to volunteer at the Book Fair too. Just all sorts of new things happening because of our little Sunshine!
For Mc's birthday we went to Boondocks.
The kids got to be in the Laser Tag arena all by themselves with me running around snapping too dark of pictures of them. And of course we couldn't leave without the coveted 'over the counter' toys that cost way too many tickets.
It was also a pleasure to meet Sister Elaine S Dalton and it was even more inspiring to listen to her speak. That hour + went by in a blink of an eye. She's a sweet lady and I could feel so much love emanating from her spirit!
Some of my favorites from that meeting:
We can't do wrong and feel right.
Faith and testimony are our weapons to fight the adversary.
There's an army of women who are called to the work.
Your happy ways will spread the Gospel.
Almost all of Satans attacks are on our bodies.
Take good care of yourself, feed your body.
Pray that you can do what you promised Heavenly Father you would do in the Premortal Existence.

A baby shower for our cousin Krystal and Stake Conference were also among the festivities that weekend.
School festivities always add to the fun.
Brynlee refused to look at us during her Halloween parade so therefore, we did not get any pictures of that. This is really the only one I got of her that day at all.
Lindquist ladies night was a blast. Red Robin then Thriller.
Don't mind my face!
Red Butte Garden After Dark.
Thank you American Express.
We went on a quest and got to find the Holy Grail, see the Lady of the Lake, make a sachet at Guineveres Meadow, saw witches brewing potion, made potions at Merlins tent, watched courtiers dancing, make a shield and a crown of leaves. We saw a real hawk and screech owl and ended the night with RMCF goodies and face painting.
Bad picture but we did a fun little haunted house with the W crew one night and went by the Halloween house too. Super cool.
Can't forget to mention Desert Star's Star Wards with the Lawrence Fam too, Grandma Thomas birthday party and carving pumpkins at Grandma and Grandpa Browns.
Happy Halloween from Doc McStuffins!
Always a blast Trick or Treating with the cousins and playing fun games at Mimi's.
Dinner, a bat cave with a piñata, punch a hole cups and a bag for a donut game. Ending the night with Jurassic World and a huge tantrum from the child throughout the ENTIRE ride home.

We celebrated my 5th year for my business at Tepanyaki and some custard too.
Man time sure flies. It's weird to say I've had my little massage business for 5 years.
It's been really good to my little family and I've enjoyed helping so many people.
