Royal Caribbean Cruise
Brilliance of the Seas
Key West, Florida & Cozumel, Mexico
April 9th ~ 14th

How to put in to words the beauty that was this vacation...
I was meant for oceans, beaches and the topics.
It was an early start (like we woke up at 3:00 or something close to it to make our flight at 5:40am) but once we got there it was all relaxing the rest of the day.
I can't be sure but I'm pretty certain I saw the Mississippi River which was cool.
When we got to the port Dad looked like a kid in a candy store to see us!
See ya later Florida.
His designated spot in our teensy little room that we shared with the Williamsons.
To say the sunsets were amazing, magnificent, gorgeous and whatever other word you could possibly imagine to describe it would be the understatement of the century. It was pure magic (again... an understatement!)
Dad acting like Quasimodo.
Hello Key West! Where have you been all my life?
Riding the Conch Train with the coolest dude on the island... Bruce knew everything there was to know about this little place.
We have officially been to the Southern most part of the USA.
Key West Aquarium
I gently touched the star fish and thought I killed it cause it fell off the wall. Broke my heart.
Got to touch some manta-rays, blow in conch shells and feed some fishies.
Feeding the nurse sharks.
We ate the best Coconut Shrimp with delicious key lime mustard.
Apparently its a secret recipe and the guy wouldn't even give me a hint as how to make it.
Seesters!
I found a store I would love to live in.
The Shell Warehouse.
Sandollars, shells, coral, and everything of the sort you can imagine. That's where we got Brynlee most of her souvenirs. I was in Heaven and everyone was laughing at me but I didn't care.
Can't even begin to lie. I missed Brynlee something fierce. They drove half way to St. George while she was staying with Maga to pick up Kimberlee and Leila.
This is the only picture we got the whole time we were gone.
Kimber and Leila stayed at our house all week while Ty and I were gone! We were so grateful Kim agreed so we didn't have to stress about Brynlee while we were gone. And grateful that Uncle James let her haha!
Again... the designated spot. He was so mad at me for taking this picture.
No idea face swap could be so entertaining!
Missing Brayden and Alina *~* The Lawrence Crew and the Ship
Did I mention the sunsets were breathtaking?
I loved just standing there smelling the salty air and feeling the sea spray on my face.
Maybe I was meant to be a pirate or something in another life. Or a mermaid... yeah!
Ty had never been rock climbing before and it had been a long time since I had done it.
We watched movies (Interstellar = mind blown) on the pool deck and the indoor theater, played mini golf, read books, ate loads of ice cream and chocolate shards (HAHA!), ate the best salmon ever, ordered dessert first, slept on crazy little drop down murphy beds that were noisy as sin, made fun of Vector (oh yeah!), learned that basically everything on the menu is Emmanuel's favorite - that's my favorite and that Brittnee eats out of the garbage, TyTy would basically just come prowling around every once in awhile.
Hola Cozumel!
Your beaches stole my heart.
Paradise beach... Truly.
Yes we are the cutest but possibly most awkward jumping picture victims ever.
Every time we go to an ocean beach I will MAKE him kiss me this way.
Of course I was the first one in the water and the last one out. I snorkeled and saw a small barracuda, a starfish the size of a dinner plate and lots of colorful little fishies, plus these little underwater trees that looked like they were from the Lorax.
The sand was gorgeous, the water so blue and beautiful, the blow up water toys were a blast. I wanted to stay all day but alas we had to leave for our Submarine ride.
Tour and boat ride to our mini submarine.
(Swimming with Dolphins was going to have to wait for another vacation.)
Most terribly photoshopped photo EVER!!
We learned that at different depths you can't see certain colors. The colors of sea life and even the clothes we were wearing seemed to change colors the deeper we went.
TyTy came in 2nd place for the sexiest man on the ship contest.... he was robbed!
(At least that's what all the little old ladies kept saying haha!)
My sibs minus a couple important ones *~* Did I mention the sunsets? *~* My name is Batty
These beauties I call mine!
On our way home... Once back on the mainland we had some time to kill so we went to a Manatee exhibit and didn't see one Manatee but we did see these cool mini crabs and some crazy big tarpin fish that were jumping out of the water with some wicked scary top fins. Cheesecake Factory for lunch then on to the airport to travel home.
We had a layover in New York and got stuck on the plane for an hour before they took us to a different gate to let us off. At least we got to see New York from a distance. The selfie pic is on the shuttle from the airport to our truck. Soo tired! It was about 1:00 AM by the time we got home maybe even closer to 1:30am.
Thanks Mimi and Papa for showing us a good time.
Take me back...
Coming home from the cruise we thought we were smart giving ourselves Friday to Sunday to recuperate, well it took me a full 6 days to get rid of my sea legs. Ty was totally fine.
Then on Sunday our Stake was dissolved so it was time to dig in the heels and get caught up on Camp, Youth Conference and figure out how to fit in to a new Stake. I was just relieved and entirely grateful our ward boundaries stayed the same. I love my YW too much to leave them just yet.
