Little slow on the up take?

Yeah I know it's been awhile. Such is the life of a married, full-time employee and full-time student kinda gal. School started and we are almost through the second week. I'd like to say it's been a breeze but I would be lying. I'm taking math for the first time in 6 years and it is HARD! It will pay off in the end. Ty will get his AS this summer and I'll get mine next Spring and then it's off to Massage school for me! Hip Hip!
I do have an interesting story for those who can stand reading about disgusting little rodents. So I was completely enjoying a bowl of Lucky Charms two Wednesdays ago and after finishing it I went to go rinse out my bowl and put it in the sink. Lo and behold do I see something in my sink that definitely should NOT be anywhere near my home! You guessed it, a mouse! I think it scared me as much as I scared it. After it scuffled back down the drain I turned the hot water on and while my heart is beating OUT of my chest I called Tyler, he was already at work but I was so glad he answered! I didn't know what to do, it was seriously a shocking moment in time! He said, "Turn on the disposal!" So I did. I don't know if I killed it to this day but as far as I know, unless it came back up (which I didn't see) then it had to have been instantly pureed. I was mortified. I turned the water off and put the plug in the drain just in case it was alive and wanted to come run amuck my counter tops (repulsive) while we were away. Anyways, we bought some mouse traps, one of which Tyler is so proud of himself because it was an electronic one that electrocutes the mice, and d-con since we saw another one running around our living room just a few days later. Which we tried to trap under our couch after it ran underneath it. Well, anyhow, we stand triumphant against the rodent kingdom because the electric box killed the one that had made some kind of escape route under our fridge and haven't seen any since.
Sorry the post is so long but I needed to get it out. My house really isn't dirty enough to house little rodents I promise. Ugh. If this has deterred anyone from ever wanting to visit, don't be deterred.
Hopefully the semester goes by fast and summer gets here as soon as possible, it would be nice not to have to use the defrost anymore!
Love ya'll! I'll try to be more dedicated/diligent. Sorry no pictures this time either, like I said, I'm a little slow on the up take!
