Brynlee and Mama got to have a Girls Day Out back in August.
What's better than to spend time shopping with the Lindquist Ladies?
I had never been to Swiss Days and therefore it was something I could add to my list.
However, I went fully knowing that Brynlee would likely get bored and have some sort of melt down.
So I came prepared. Snacks, books, toys and whatever else I could think of.
And.....
She did amazing.
With the attitude that me and her were going to have fun together, it was a success.
For being such a good girl she got some bling (a darling necklace).
I had fun perusing the booths with my sister and my Aunties, cousins and Grandma.
It was worth it.... I mean, it was destined to be worth the alarm clock going off at 5:45 AM!
Real people don't function at that hour. I'm tellin' ya....
That very same night I was privileged to go on a Temple Date Night with my sweetie.
These dates are the best. Not only are we spiritually uplifted but it costs only the gas to get there.
We hadn't been in a couple months and I was really excited to go.
This was the first time we'd seen the new presentation and it was so touching that I bawled.
Yep, bawled my eyes out.
The ladies sitting next to me probably thought I was crazy but I didn't care.
I'd also been struggling with some things at work and wanted some peace and answers.
The best place to go for peace and answers... the temple.
The closest place to heaven on earth you can possibly get.
I must document that after this picture was taken we both got on our phones only for me to find out my sister Tisha had biffed it on her Trail 90 in order to not run over my niece and she was pretty banged up. Ty had also gotten a text from his mom that his brother Drew had to have 15 stitches from his arm being sliced open with a box cutter at work.
Quite the shock to walk out of the temple on such a gorgeous summer evening and get that news.
Happy to announce they both lived and are recovering well :)
All in a good days work.
