Cool dudes (aka as sunglasses), lipstick and Waffle Love
Brynlee Jade can spot the infamous food truck from a mile away.
We were on our way to the Aquarium and just had to stop.
It was my first day off I had had in awhile and I didn't want to waste it on cleaning the house or doing more work from home, which I can assure you there was plenty that needed my attention.
But my baby girl needed me to.
She was fascinated with the sharks, it was her favorite part!
I didn't get a picture but we did the ferris wheel at Scheel's then picked up Ty for some din din at Olive Garden, then to see a movie. Curses to Inside out. I cried more than once. Really it was great though. Brynlee said Disgust was her favorite because she was pretty. and she thoroughly enjoyed going to the movie theater. She sat on Ty's lap the whole time. I don't even know why we buy her a ticket. It wouldn't be complete without a treat so we shared my favorite gelato - Chocolate Dipped Strawberry.
Then it was off to Maga's for a sleepover with Aspen, Riley and Aunt Meagan.
Ty and I headed to the RSL vs Galaxy game complements of one of my business clients.
The whole day was so fun.
Brynlee's Primary teacher, Sister Bryce hosted a class water party.
Complete with a slip n' slide, a sponge fight, duck duck goose, water balloons and Otterpops.
Ty's golf tournament with the Lawrence boys, fundraising for Minerettes.
He came home so happy, fed and he even won a couple of fun things too.
Did I mention that all the pictures so far, we did all this in one week?
Yep, just call us party animals. After all, that's what summers are for right?
(With the exception of the truck dying and having to buy a new battery... ugh!)
I also had a fun night with my girls Erica and Crystal this week. It was the first Girl Time since Crystal had Brooklyn so we hung around close to her house to assuage new mommy anxieties and hit up the Pizzeria Limone and World Market. As exemplary as every, Crystal secretly bought me a necklace I had been eyeing and snuck it into my car with a sweet note.
More fun this summer...
Nasty gigantic dead moth that I thought was a bird. YUCK!
Running shenanigans with Toby.
Nothing more attractive than a man that loves kids and will pack them around just because.
How about a homemade campfire eclair! Mmm.
Summer wouldn't be the same without at least one visit to the Magna Swimming Pool.
(That's all we could fit in this year.)
