Flaming Gorge

*~* Flaming Gorge *~*
This trip was a bit different this year than our usual.
We took Mckinley up with us and it was so fun to listen to the girls on the way up. Seriously, we had them convinced some of the hills were giants poop (Like the BFG). Haha!
Brayden brought his side by side and let the kiddos ride and ride some more. We found some cool new places this year. Possibly a whole new camp that was absolutely perfect! Ty cooked some of the best ribs and thinks the peach cobbler was terrible. Lots of puzzles, cookies, stabbing myself with a skewer, exploring and sitting by the fire. It rained and we didn't catch a bunch of fish like usual but it was still worth it to get out into the clean air, the quiet and the calm of mother nature.

We found the end of the rainbow before we got to camp and I also caught the rainbow coming out of Ty's nose! Perfect!

Flying copters with Ty.

Home away from home for the weekend. Two tents: one for the kiddos to play and one to keep clean to sleep. First time using our 6 man tent that Mimi and Papa gave us (Dad was so excited to give it to us!)

Ty and playing with sticks and gathering firewood, etc.
Unc Brayden had to climb a tree to get a stranded copter.

Nothing like sitting' by the fire.

This year we went to the beach and it was so fun. Unfortunately, a storm rolled in with lightning and we had to skedaddle. Later, we learned two people died on the lake that day from lightning strikes.

Love mi familia.

I love spending all day out on the lake on the pontoon and this year we seriously got the coolest one. You could go up on top (where Brynlee acquired several slivers that she wouldn't even let us look at, let alone try to get them out), there was a sink and cupboards and the back came up for some shade and naps for the kiddos.

Uh... He was in Truck Heaven! Dad let him drive it back to camp and I had to capture the moment.

Coveted walking sticks.
Heading home.... always a bummer.

Ty's lovely sunburn from not wearing sunscreen for the entire day we were out on the pontoon!
It hurt worse than it looks!

Can't wait to go back again! It's one of my favorites!
