Amongst the Costa Rica planning, getting back into the swing of things after coming back to real life, planning for Easter and etc.... We did have some slower moments that are worth the documentation.
This month hit me hard after we came home from Costa Rica that I really wanted to move. We came home to new tenants next door that smoke outside a lot. Cigarette smoke is a tough one for me and I couldn't walk out my front door most days without getting a huge whiff of smoke. It broke my heart. We traded off one smell (dogs and feces) for a completely new one that was hard to deal with. Little did I know that by the end of April I would just so happen to be looking at houses and find one I thought was where we needed to be. So it began...
Mid March this girl basically performed for the last time as a Minerette at Bingham High School.
So proud of her and all that she's accomplished. Beautiful inside and out. (PS I was really tired.)
Apparently this is how we watch conference at our house and the card... I don't have words for it.
Show and teach at school. Love that I get to come to these and listen to her 'present' her topic.
For cousin Cash's birthday I got some Noah loves. He just kept giving me kisses and I wasn't protesting. Made my heart so happy.
We did a piƱata, Jade had a necklace making station, presents, of course we had yummy food too.
*~* Easter *~*
Finding eggs at Maga's. This year they had to find eggs with the letters of their name in it and then they could get their basket.
Mom had work so Ty took Brynlee to what was supposed to be an amazing Easter Egg Hunt with all the Lawrence grandkids at the South Jordan Equestrian park complex. Well I'm sure it was amazing for all the 15,000 people that were there, so many people that our crew left without doing any of the activities and luckily no one was trampled or lost in the mess of people.
Easter Egg making at the Williamson's temporary abode.
The mermaid eggs were some of my favorites. They're all darling though.
Easter at Mimi's. Always a blast to have the children run amuck and go crazy finding eggs and candy.
I found the silver egg with some moola in it. Irony is it was up high but the shortest adult in the family found it. Ha!
The Easter Bunny brought Brynlee a cool spirograph but didn't realize Ty would like it just as much. Hopefully I can find the Easter morning pics but for now this will have to suffice.
To close out the month of April's festivities, Mc got to spend the night. After house hunting, we took them out to Sakana with Mimi and Papa. Silly girls. Love them and that they have each other.
It'll be a sad day when they no longer like matching and/or can't fit in these nightgowns.
Our sweet littles, who is not quite so little anymore.
Such a beauty. You're my favorite!
Funny story. I help in Brynlee's class on Fridays and one day after I finished I was going to walk across the crosswalk to go home. This guy literally was driving down the street in his big work van, stopped right in front of me and treated me to lunch! It was so great! Always a good surprise when he stops by.
