May Flowers

May started with Cyprus Swim lessons!! Brynlee was soo excited and nervous all at the same time.

A couple lessons in she finally got her swim cap. Those aren't the easiest things to put on, just for the record but how adorable is this kid. Clearly she wasn't terribly happy to be getting her picture taken.

Oh my... I can't even contain how much I love this munchkin!

Posing in a new outfit Mimi gave her and playing with gobs of Legos she got for Easter.

Got to celebrate Erica's wedding and these beauties just fill my life with so much light and love.
The second picture is just so entirely us. All confused about when we're doing the funny picture and not being able to all do it at the same time. Love these souls to pieces. I won't forget being here and all rockin' out some High Fitness moves together, in dresses and heels at Erica's reception haha!!!

Last week of 1st grade and last week of school at Pleasant Green Elementary.
Their program was pretty dang cute. They did a little short play of the Star-Bellied Sneetches. I love it when she is performing because she sees us in the crowd and tries not to smile or look at us the rest of the time but you can tell she's so happy we are there.

I went in to help on the last day and had to put together some of the kids journals. Hers was one of them and these were some of her entries. Such a sweet and fun little girl.

 Getting so big!

She won the best speller award. Mrs. Taylor said since the first month of school Brynlee didn't miss any words on her spelling tests.
Friend Candace that she will miss so much.

Spring soccer at Magna Rec Center. Still not sure if Soccer is your jam but you look forward to going. It's not in your nature to push other kids around haha! Your coach was awesome and after the team picture all the parents silly stringed you guys.

In May, we also finished our Self-Reliance classes and as glad as we were to have it over, I feel so blessed we had the opportunity to go through this program. We are very fortunate to have been one of the first ones in our Stake and the timing seems to be divine.
Brynlee also went on her very first field trip without Mom or Dad. They went down to Discovery Gateway and she said it was super fun and that we should go back as a family.
Ty also joined a golf league at work. Yep let me repeat that, he joined a golf league. It's every Wednesday in the summer and I bet he's going to love it.
Brynlee also attended it's Great to be 8.
On Sunday the 21st we put our house up for sale. Actually Mom put it up for sale that night and then told us the next morning that we had several house showings and already had an offer from a family that hadn't even walked through it yet. I was freaking out! I hadn't even cleaned or anything because we weren't going to list the house until mid/end of the week. Well it was basically sold in one day. We accepted 1 of the 3 offers the next day. It was kind of fast and really shocking that our house was under contract to be sold. What were we doing? We didn't even have a house to buy yet! We didn't know where we were going. Talk about trying to have faith. Yikes! We found a house by the end of the week and put an offer in on it.... then we left for Cleveland! More on that story later though!

We celebrated my birthday as well but... there are no pictures to prove it. We did go out with Mom and Dad to Black Bear Diner because we went and looked at a house that day so we figured we would just go grab some dinner. Nothing crazy special though.
