Terrorific and Spooktacular Halloween

From beginning to the very very end, October was craziness and so much fun at the same time.
It is undocumented but we tried to put Brynlee in Karate. She wasn't quite so sure about it. I made her practice a couple of times and we went until she earned a white belt but that was it. Not a whole lot of interest in it after that.
Also undocumented was the first Primary Program in our new ward. Both Ty and I had to sit up on the stand with our class (Brynlee's class). That was a first.

We celebrated Mimi, Mc and Brayden's birthdays and did our Lawrence Halloween party at the same time. Mimi goes all out and the kiddos love it! P.S. I'm not sure how Brynlee snuck into the picture with the October birthday peeps.

This year we bought our pumpkins at the Peterson Farm. It was so fun to go pick our own and visit the farm.

The Riverton Scare Rodeo with the cousins. It had a cool Troll Stroll scavenger hunt, games, donuts/hot chocolate and a haunted maze with a headless horseman on a real horse at the end.

Other activities included Cornbellies at Thanksgiving Point with the Thomas fam. So much fun in the corn kernel beach, almost being thrown off the ziplines, sliding down the huge slide, playing on all the playgrounds, and balloon tramp, rides and spending time with each other laughing and making memories.

I love these crazy fools.

Brynlee's school parade. She didn't even ignore us this time. Possibly because we told her if she ignored us again and didn't at least smile at us we wouldn't be coming to any of them in the future. I got to go to her class party after the parade and help at the slime making station. Brynlee loves it when I come to her class.

The youth in our ward apparently do a Halloween party for the kids every year. There was bobbing for donuts, you could throw a whipping cream pie at some of the young men's faces, and a few other games. We are trying to get to know people and get out there.

Annual pumpkin carving at Grandma and Grandpa Browns. Brynlee and me did the cat and Ty did a for sale haunted house. Ty bought himself an attachment for his drill to clean out our pumpkins because they were so big and it made it easy peasy. Plus he enjoyed himself thoroughly.

Crystal and I planned lots of fun things for High. We had amazing costume themed classes on top of doing a Halloween party at Crystals house with a short High class and good food with a fire (Ty's favorite part). She is definitely the queen of party planning. I will admit I made Ty come with me and I made him dress up but he was a good sport. I bought his outfit at the DI and he actually likes all of it and has worn his vest to church haha! Crystal and I went downtown to an Epic High Halloween party as well. All the gurus were there and we just had a good time working out and getting a glimpse at some new choreography and yummy High protein.

*~* Halloween *~*
The original Batgirl.

No planning involved. These girls are two peas in a pod. This was Brynlee's first year EVER going trick-or-treating with a friend and staying in our very own neighborhood! I took them out and Ty stayed home to pass out candy. I bought the candy and didn't know how much to plan for. Surprisingly we had a ton left over. I guess we didn't get many kids in our circle.
These two girls crack me up though. They were champs, running from house to house. There was one house they refused to go up to the door because it was a spook alley and they were too afraid. Haha! The owner of the house eventually came out and gave them candy because he was waiting in there to scare people but figured they were too little. By the end it was getting dark and cold and they were tired! So I offered to hold their candy bags so they could warm their hands up. As soon as they gave me their bags I cackled and started running away from them yelling, "You just willingly gave me all your candy, it's mine now!!!" They ran after me laughing hysterically. Clever way to warm them up, take their minds off the cold and get them home faster.

I was a High Fitness scarecrow. Surprise surprise.
