April Showers

Spring Soccer.... again.
For some reason we always do Spring season and not Fall. Oh well. here's to hoping she loves it. We told her that if she scored a goal we would go get ice cream and if she scored two goals she could pick out an LOL doll.

I got to teach a short High Fitness class to the Young Women in my ward. It was so fun and they have so much energy but I kicked their butts too so that made it fun haha!

Love this girl.

Since we were out of town for Easter we did all the celebrations with our families later in the month.
First with Mimi and Papa Lawrence.

Next with Maga and Papa Thomas.

Brynlee finally got to meet her new cousin Dayne, he was about a month old. She had had a cold and been sick so we didn't want to spread the germ love. Ty helped their family move and took her with so she got to hold him. She's pretty good with babies, until they start to cry.

To be entirely honest, we did Easter dresses a couple weeks after Easter this year. It was a mess but Brynlee still felt special to get a new dress and I loved mine too. Ty didn't care much that he didn't get a new tie. Ha! While at church that day I tore the tag off the inside bottom seam of my dress and was a bit shocked to see what it said. It says, "Made in the U.S.A Jesus, The Savior". Ok then. Just an odd thing to see on a dress tag but.... sure!

These two girls. They never stop, never fight, never get sick of each other and always want to be together.

April 20th, I'm not going to lie, the day I watched my baby girl ride off on her scooter with her BFF to go to school was a very emotional day! My mama heart was cracking wide open. It hurts that she is needing me less and less to be there for her. On the flip side I'm super proud she can do these things and be perfectly ok with it. Just wish I could go back and snuggle and smell my 5lb 9oz baby one more time.

I made a friend in our garden. It's wings were wet so it couldn't fly and I put it on the tree to keep it safe. It was pretty neat to watch this little creature.

Sports with Dad. Dad being a good sport. I was shooting hoops with her one day and we were just giggling so hard because I hit my elbow on something (can't remember what) and she quoted the movie 'Epic' and said, "I hurt my elbow!" (said in a really slow mo kind of way). So funny!
