May

High Fitness with Crystal Stebbins. She is so high energy and I'm so glad we've stayed friends. Every so often she comes down to Utah from Idaho and when she can, she comes to class. What's so cool is she is a certified High Fitness Instructor too!

Not even sure what the occasion was for this, maybe just a Sunday get together.

Red Butte Gardens Field Trip
Rode in the bus together, Brynlee still likes to sit with me. We hiked around. It was cold and wet from the rain but it made everything so pretty and vibrant. We collected acorns and gawked at all the beautiful flowers. Lunch at a park and then back to school. I am so glad I get to have these opportunities with her. There won't be many of them left.

This made me laugh too hard! Because it's too true!

I love this thing I do. High brings me joy.

Why not? It took forever and so many wheelbarrow loads but we did this on our own and we are so proud of it! Our little trailer fits so perfectly! We used dirt from a flower bed behind the house since we want to dig it down and put in a sandbox anyways, trex we got randomly from online for cheap and we bought some rocks to put over it too and ta da, it's done. Well, there was more to it than that actually, like Ty having to move sprinklers which was rough since it's so rocky here. It was so much work but that's one of my favorite things to do with Ty is house and yard projects.

Tulip festival with the Thomases. You couldn't find clog #9. Mom and Dad found it when we went later on in the month for my birthday though.

Mother's Day

Crazy hair day at school.

Lagoon with Kam and the Cutright's. You were both freezing.

My birthday was a whole month of celebrating this year.
Walker Edison put up a sign on my door at work so all day people were wishing me a Happy Birthday. I got a Kitchenaid which was supposed to be a surprise but all the Thomas people that helped pitch in gave it away on Venmo by putting 'mixer' in the description haha. Gourmandise and Steel Magnolias with Tisha at Hale Center (totally laughed and cried). Tulip Festival and R&R BBQ with my love which was so fun to spend the day with Ty. Brynlee gave me a mini waffle maker and I LOVE it! It makes the most perfect sized waffles. They fit in the toaster if you want to make extra and then warm them up later.

More birthday celebrations with this chick. Our birthday luau was a total blast! I mean, coconut bras, grass skirts, leis for everyone! 16 years ago on our 16th birthdays, we had a combined luau party and we were able to reenact that haha! I got to see cute Rachel as well! Love that girl and miss her.

Family birthday celebrations, sharing my bday party with Papa with a red velvet cake, yum.

He still stands by the fact that he doesn't take naps. Evidence.

First trip with the trailer. Fairview with most of the fam. It's definitely a different adventure and experience having a trailer. The first night it was freezing and we couldn't figure out why the heater kept coming on until the next morning I saw a small space above the window on the door. The window had actually slipped down a bit inside the door. The next night was definitely a lot warmer. Then at one point we couldn't get hot water and between Dad Ty and Uncle TyTy we couldn't figure it out but the next day Dad called this RV place and they kind of helped him figure it out. Nothing was broken, we just had a valve open that should've been closed. Before we figured that out though, Ty got so frustrated and was like, "we bought a piece of junk!" Of course we didn't buy a piece of junk he is just a little dramatic when things don't work out. Brynlee and Cash played and played together and actually had a really good time. We ate a pancake breakfast, sat around the camp fire and enjoyed each other's company, played some games, watched - To all the Boys I've Loved Before, kinda weird but fine. Went golfing, rode in the side by side, Brynlee had a complete melt down after I took the picture of those flowers because Noah ruined them and it broke her heart. She cried and cried because she made them forme "and Noah just ruined them." She eventually got over it. It was pretty chilly while we were there. You can always find Ty by the fire, keeping it alive and playing with it. It's his happy place for sure. He is the fire man.

Memorial Day High at Project Dance. Erin Weist and Rylie Talbot came to teach with me and that's the most ladies I've had in that room for a High class. It was so fun!

Later in the day for Memorial Day we went to Scales and Tales. It took a second to get used to the smell in that place but it was a pretty neat little treasure. Ty held the tarantula named Fluffy first. I was freaking out for him. Then I did something I wasn't sure I was capable of doing but knew I would regret if I didn't. I held Fluffy as well. It took a lot of courage and I cried, was sweating and shaking but I did it, sitting down of course because I didn't think I could do it standing up. It gave me an adrenaline headache for a couple hours afterwards. She didn't feel like what I expected her to feel like. I learned that spiders are actually very fragile and if you drop them they basically just break. She was very light, like a feather and just settled down in to my hands and didn't move much. I was very proud of myself though. Brynlee didn't want to hold her or feed the turtles either but eventually she gave in to feeding the turtles and really liked it. She liked the little turtle in the aquarium, he kept opening his mouth and swimming to her. Maybe he wanted to nibble her haha. That yellow snake is a Burmese Python named Peaches and he was heavy. A lot of these animals are rescues. They had an alligator there that was confiscated from someone that purchased it illegally and it got too big and didn't know what to do with it. Duh! Ended the outing going to look at some puppies then a treat at Yogurtland.

Spelling bee at school. Brynlee doesn't actually like this memory because she spelled a word wrong (can't remember what it was though). Then there's the toast that she put in the pantry because she wanted to save it for later. Umm.... ok.

Last day of school 3rd grade. How can this be? She just started 3rd grade. Had her outfit picked out the night before and wanted me to french braid her hair so it would be wavy for her last day. She's almost one of the big kids at her school. Not cool. Too fast kiddo. Slow down!

Other things of note:
Brynlee scored 2 goals in one of her soccer games!

I was called to be the Laurel Advisor for YW. Sunbeams was really really hard for me. It did end up getting better than it was at the beginning of the year but going to church was not something I looked forward to. It was hard. So I am super excited to be back in YW's. Immediately I knew I needed to stop accepting more clients and figure out how I was going to make going to activities and such, work with my schedule. It's gonna be rough because that takes away one night a week that I can do massages but I will make it work.

Ty and I went to see Avenger's Endgame. He literally refused to get a drink or go to dinner before hand so he wouldn't have to leave the movie to pee. Serious. Not joking. Haha.
