Spencer 2nd Ward - Star Bellied Sneetches
Stake Girls Camp - Heber Valley Church Camp
August 3rd - 7th, 2015
Our first day, Monday, was slightly crazy. Getting there, getting all the girls there, getting the leaders there plus all the stuff. Driving up the mountain in the rain and fog made it seem like we were driving into a cloud. A little eery at first but really neat. I resurrected my blue Anorak from 8th grade. That's right, I've kept it all this time and I was so grateful I decided to grab it last minute because it was very much needed! My Camp Director, Holli Meza was the bomb. Super organized, chill and fun!

Beautiful day to be out on a canoe, getting soaked, by girls that need to take out some frustrations (a hem... Chloee Archibald)...
Oh man, I can't even tell you how much I love these ladies. They are good to the core, heart and soul and I am lucky enough to be able to serve with them in the best organization in the ward (I'm a little biased!)
This group of girls... Individually and as a whole I love them.
Each of them have their own unique qualities that make them precious.
Struggles, triumphs, likes, dislikes, talents and abilities!
It's because of them that I feel like I have the best calling in the entire world!

Jarilyn, Jill and Kris making fun of us leaders that tuck our sleeves.
builds my testimony, every time
has the best bedtime stories with teenaged girls
is so much work
is worth all the work
always consists of late night leader heart to heart talks
is full of goofing off
has the best treats
is smelly
brings me closer to my sisters - youth and leaders
teaches me new things
refreshes my soul
brings me closer to Christ
builds friendships that will last forever
pulls me from my comfort zone
stresses me out
testimony meetings cannot be beat
never fails to keep me coming back...every...single...time.
I'm so blessed.

Loved the zip line. Helps me feel free.

Left: before the fashion show. Right: before the hike.

Left: Green eggs and ham - so tasty! Right: planning our skit.
We were the star-bellied sneetches and I loved what the girls came up with.

Left: Just chillin' Right: Singing their made up Girls Camp song to Kelly Clarkson's Heartbeat song.
I didn't want it to end. Our yurts were so cool. The girls were really so good.
