Thanksgiving and the weekend.
This was on Thanksgiving. Kingston snuggled with me for probably 10 minutes straight and I was in heaven. It was so sweet and I soaked up every second, until Cash got there and then the two of them were off to play.
Leila and Brynlee at the little kids table at Grandma Thomas's house. They both ended up at the big table with everyone else. I was happy to have Brynlee sit next to me all squished in together.
We harvested the rest of our crops - carrots and tomatoes.
Ty put the lights up on the house. He got a little fancy and daring and actually got up on the roof to put lights on the top pitch. It was a windy day so he wasn't particularly fond of being up there.
Ty Ty brought his family out while he helped us finish some things in the bathroom. Little Noah is wearing the special shoes we gave him. This was the first time Brynlee showed any interest in holding baby Noah and she asked to do it twice! Cash and Brynlee entertained themselves with the boxes we had from purchasing our new bathroom vanity. It's amazing to me how much entertainment can come from a box!
Our annual Sub 4 Santa with the Lawrence crew.
This year we helped give Christmas to a handful of kiddos from the Adoption Exchange.
We specifically took care of a 1 month old baby boy which was a special treat for us.
We ate dinner (I ruined the rolls and they turned out more like biscuits..!), did a family night together and headed to the store while Mimi and Papa stayed back to watch the rugrats.
I love the feeling it gives me to think of these children on Christmas morning and how excited they are to see the presents.
A first for our family...
The North Pole Express.
Brynlee got some new jamjams, we bundled up, hit up some dinner in Heber and boarded our train.
Not before we saw several people we knew. It was fun to see familiar faces.
My little family of three. This is how Ty looked most of the time.
On our way to the North Pole we enjoyed a cookie baked by Mrs. Claus, some hot chocolate, we caroled and Noah peed on the seat haha!
Cousins are the best.
Waiting for Santa, then arriving at the North Pole to see him waving at us through the windows!
Santa boarded our train and came to see us on the way home to the train station. The looks on their faces are precious! He gave each of us a jingle bell.
Santa and Jingle the elf.
Life is full of changes.
All of Brynlee's clothes I've been saving. (Yes, the boxes are just clothes and shoes). Gave a lot of it away. Sold some of it. Hopefully donating the rest of it to someone in need. I did keep one box of sentimental things. A couple of preemie outfits I gave to Brynlee because they fit her American Girl dolls, which was crazy that she was that small. All of this stuff was basically gone by Thanksgiving and it was good to have it gone.
Another big change, I finally had to say goodbye to my trusty planner/faux cd case. Haha! It served me well for a long time but it was falling apart, thus the duct tape. Sad day... Haven't found an equivalent to match it!
