Summer time. Hands down, the best time of the year.
| Mckinley's rendition of the Thomas family. |
Summer was an absolute blur. We kicked it off with our trip to Cleveland but it was slammed with packing up the Magna house, moving, unpacking the new house and trying to get settled all while still trying to maintain some sense of normalcy for the Summer.
Another movie compliments of American Express. Despicable Me 3.
Ty did something kind of silly but cool. These 4 guys got together (Cameron, Michael, Porntepp and Ty) all met at their old elementary school and walked 'home' together, just like the old days. It was so funny! They ate lunch together and just hung out for a bit.
I got the privilege of taking Grandma Cookie out for "dinner" (aka Cold Stone haha)! It was really nice to spend some time with her and eat sugar together. We talked and talked. She had to help me drive home because we were up on the East side which is a foreign country to me.
Bags and bags and bags of needles from these trees. It was never ending and took us forever to eventually get them throw away too.
Painting. The beauties of moving into a new place and wanting to make it your own. It was nice to get the bead board up and the shelves are coming along nicely as well. Lots of work but totally worth it.
Solar Eclipse. So neat! It got cool and eerily quiet when the sun went behind the moon.
The Girl Who Lived. Tisha always remembers how hard Brynlee's birthday is for me. It's a bittersweet day and I usually just try to keep myself super busy for it but these beauties brought me tears as well as a ray of sunshine. Super proud to be referenced to a Harry Potter character though!
As soon as we moved in and finally had a safe place for Brynlee to ride her bike, she kind of had to relearn how to ride since we didn't have a good place for her in Magna. Ty and I are soo happy she can just go outside and ride around the circle. The hard part will be letting her ride around the neighborhood eventually by herself or to go to friends houses.
Annual check up and finishing her new 200 piece puzzle all by herself that Uncle Drew gave her for her birthday.
Never been a fan of peaches but now that we have a peach tree that has changed my mind because the first peach we got from our tree was delicious!
Ty and I went running through the trails we have around here.
Riding the lawn mower with Papa Thomas and Leila.
Chilling with Leila.
Sisters are the best. Britty finally came to High just to show some support!
Summer days and nights can't be beat.
Always sad to have it come to an end.
