Ty took the whole week off between Christmas and New Year's which was glorious to say the least!
And....
It was a freaking Christmas miracle that none of us ~ Zip, Zero, Zilch ~ got sick this year. The last several years one or more of us has seriously gotten the stomach flu and had to either miss Christmas and/or spend the whole Christmas break recovering from it. This was one of the best Winter Breaks we've had in a long time. There was a lot of fun stuff going on but honestly the best part was just hanging out together and spending a lot of time at home chilling.
The annual Thomas girls Christmas sleepover party did not disappoint this year. Matching jammies like usual, staying up late, going to the movies, lots of goodies and memories! This group just keeps growing and growing.
While she was with the Thomas girls, Ty and I went on a date and in typical fashion went to see a movie, this time it was Star Wars, The Last Jedi. Good movie. Good time to spend together, just me and him.

We were able to start and finish a project, checking one more thing off the list. Painting and wainscoting in Brynlee's room. We helped her pick out the paint and also had her help us as well. It turned out so nice and it felt good to get it done.
For a Christmas present Tisha took the kids to Boondocks for a few hours. Score for her, score for us.
This right here, this was one of my favorite moments of the entire break. Brynlee working on her amusement park legos Maga gave her, Ty working on the Utes mini (seriously so tiny) lego helmet and me working on my Beauty and the Beast puzzle. All of us doing our own thing in the same room and having a good time chatting.
Making her write her own talk for Primary on the Prophet Joseph Smith.

This month was packed full of so many good things and I'm glad, despite the busyness of it all, for all the memories we've made as a family.
