Christmas Eve was on a Sunday this year. We cheated and wore the same church outfits as last year. No one else really complained plus it made it a bit easier on me too.
Christmas Eve was with the Lawrence's this year. Ugly sweaters and all. Well, not quite so ugly. Ty's R2D2, mine was a polar bear and penguin (from the girls store Justice haha) and Brynlee's could not have represented her any better with a puppy and saying of "The snuggle is real."
Our white elephant gifts we ended up bringing home were a potty piano and a boob towel.

We were tuckered out but couldn't go to bed without leaving cookies and eggnog for Santa and a carrot for the reindeer. This year Santa wanted Brynlee to sleep in our room because he had a surprise for her. Santa's elves stayed up late building a surprise in her room.

We headed downstairs after watching the Christmas Bible videos and saying a prayer. Santa was good to us, he filled our stockings with the best goodies from RMCF.
The mess of Christmas morning is so crazy and fun and lovely with all it's memories and love.
After opening presents under the tree we showed Brynlee Santa's surprise for her. She was a weirdo and didn't know how to act, falling on the floor and then just looking around like she didn't know what to do. She loved it though. A new bed, nightstand and dresser. It was about time she got a bedroom set. It was time to be done with the loft bed. Now Toby can sleep with her too. Among the other gifts, she got a skateboard which Ty has already tried to ride and ran into the wall in the garage and scraped up the bottom of it pretty bad. Ty got his golf clubs which is all he wanted. I got my puzzle mat and my 2,000 piece Beauty and the Beast puzzle that I'll be working on forever! Finished picture forthcoming, whenever that is haha!

Christmas morning we did breakfast with Grandma Brown and then headed to Maga and Papa's. Sad we didn't get any pictures there. As is tradition we ended the day at Mimi and Papa's where Brynlee got her easy bake oven.
