Best Birthday Ever!
Saturday, August 23rd
We decided to be brave and let Brynlee have a friend birthday party.
Total success. Even with 10 children running amuck our miniature backyard.
Brynlee loved it and was so excited for all her friends to come play at her house for HER birthday.

There wasn't really a theme planned and it turned out just as fun with 10X less stress.
The kids really just had fun playing and running around.
We had pizza and yummy bright blue cupcakes with fish sprinkles, thus the blue tongue picture.
They gobbled them up. We gave them each a water bottle of their own - girls got the pink butterfly and the boys each got one with a shark on it.
We will have to see about friend parties in the future but this one sure was fun.
It's tough (sometimes) to see your kid grow up and become a little more independent. In all honesty, no longer having to change diapers is super nice but when your kid is old enough to say out loud, "No Mom, I can do it. I don't need help." - that's been rough for me to accept. In all it's bittersweetness I'm so proud of this kid. She lights up my world and I am proud that she is all mine.
