Part 2
Thursday
Our very own Queen Elsa Ready for a Royal breakfast with the princesses! We painted the girls fingernails the night before so we could be all pretty for this.
Everyone still fresh with no blisters or aching feet.
Breakfast at Ariel's Grotto
Twinners.
Not quite how we thought she would react to seeing real life princesses.
Again... Not how we thought she would react.
It took awhile for her to get warmed up to them.
I really think she was just confused as to why they were life sized and if they were real or not.
It's too tempting to NOT make the girls outfits match. They're so dang cute together.
Our first ride was the Cars ride and it was SOO cool! We all loved it!
Even hesitant to meet Minnie Mouse!
Before we went back to the hotel for a bit of a break we hopped on Soarin' California with only an 8 minute wait. Brynlee loved it! The golf ball made her jump. It was hilarious. She insisted on going on that one with Mckinley.
Back for a 'rest' at the hotel.
Call us horrible parents but regardless, Mc and Brynlee both went on Tower of Terror. It gave Brynlee nightmares but oh well, it was worth a shot. Still my favorite ride.
We got to talk to some pretty cool Australian folks while waiting for the Tower of Terror and then again later in the day we met some peeps from Canada. Disneyland definitely appeals to the masses.
Watching the parade while the rest of us rode the Matterhorn. So glad Papa is strong enough to hold them both up to get a good view.
The day was packed with Fantasyland rides, The Buzz Lightyear and Zurg ride, The Grizzlie Bear Rapids, plus after we left we headed to Downtown Disney to check all that out. I wasn't even aware that all of that existed! It was so cool! Scored me some Sanuks which proved to be the best shoes to wear at Disneyland! Best purchase of the trip for me. Even though the Dole Whips and my Carmel Apple come in a close tie for second. Everyone was exhausted that night!
I carried Kingston the whole way back to the hotel and we just chatted the whole time.
Both Brynlee and Mc fell asleep on the way back. So you can imagine the wrath when we tried to get her to take a bath that night. Some people would say 'Why bother?' but I feel like you can sleep so much better when you aren't all sticky and gross from all the humidity, sweating and dirty Disney germs. She was so tired that when we told her to go potty she FELL off the toilet. Silly kid.
Every minute of that day was amazing!
