One more Birthday tribute

Brynlee's 5 year appointment.
This girl is very consistent.
Still in the 25% for height and weight.
40.5" tall and a whopping 35 lbs
(Her height was very important because it meant she could go on the rides at Disneyland)
She is no longer scared of the papered table.
At 5 years old you have unending amounts of energy. Most nights you sleep 9-10 hours.
You still come snuggle with me in the mornings when you wake up before I do.
Aurora is your favorite Princess. You love to make "soup" from dirt, water, leaves, etc. and it brings back my childhood memories. You have a passion for coloring, dancing, playing ANYTHING and reading. After a long day away from home, you usually miss Toby and can't wait to snuggle him.
Your hair do of choice is either a braid or a headband. I don't know where you get it but you are a girly girl and love makeup, fingernail painting, unicorns (you have 4 white and pink ones), princesses, the color PINK and your red nightgown. You can pump yourself on the swing and jump out of it as well. You love your veggies and loathe dinnertime.
Such a big kid. Where has the time gone?

Ty took his actual birthday off from work.
It was a Thursday and we had a bunch going on.
Brynlee's meet and greet for Preschool.
We also had plans to go to the Ogden Temple Open house.
Then dinner afterwards.
At the temple, Brynlee threw a FIT when we tried to put the plastic booties on her.
She's so particular about certain things it amazes me.
When we entered the Celestial Room during the tour I tried to help her pay attention to what she was feeling. Not sure it got through to her but at least she can now say she has been inside the temple.

Sun in the eyes!!!
Families are Forever
Caught this moment after we got home from her Preschool Meet and Greet.
A Daddy reading to his baby girl.
One of those fleeting moments that I wish I could immortalize and hold forever.

Love that dress and little Brynlee! She looks so grown up. It's kind of sad.
